Con la incorporación de un nuevo guitarrista rítmico, Dire Straits amplía sus sonidos y ambiciones en el extenso “Love Over Gold”. En cierto sentido, el álbum es su trabajo de rock progresivo, con solo cinco canciones, incluyendo “Telegraph Road”, la canción inicial de 14 minutos. Queen, además, fue la banda que más discos vendió entre 1991 y 1992 en Reino Unido, Holanda, Alemania, Argentina, Austria, Dinamarca, España, Francia, Finlandia, Italia y Portugal entre otros. Pearl Jam es considerado uno de los grupos más importantes de la década de 1990.
